Tint changes how a car feels inside: cooler seats, less glare off the freeway, UV kept off you and the interior, and what’s on the back seat kept to yourself.

We fit Kepler window film in three ranges — Standard, IR and IR+ (the two ceramic films) — in shades from Nebula 04, the darkest, to Photon 72, the lightest (IR+ only). A car takes between one and five hours depending on the vehicle — we work by appointment so nobody is rushed.

  • Kepler Standard, IR or IR+ film
  • Every window cut to fit
  • Shades shown on your car in the 360° viewer
  • Kepler’s lifetime warranty on its films
  • Aftercare in plain words

What tint does

Why tint your car windows?

A gray Tesla Model 3 with tinted rear glass and glass roof in our studio

A cooler car

Ceramic films reject far more of the sun’s infrared heat than standard film — the cabin stays cooler and the AC works less.

A white Toyota GR Supra, freshly tinted, rolling out through our studio’s roller door

Less glare

Low sun on the 91 and the 57 — tint takes the edge off so you can actually see.

Blocks UV

Film blocks UV that fades and cracks interiors and reaches your skin on every drive.

More privacy

Darker rear glass keeps the back seats yours, and an even shade just looks right.

Questions

Car window tinting questions

Between one and five hours depending on the vehicle. We use an appointment system, so your car isn’t rushed through like a production line.

Kepler’s lifetime warranty on the films we fit covers cracking, bubbling, delamination and fading for the life of the film — if anything goes wrong, bring it straight back to us.

No. Factory tint is a pigment in the glass and does little for heat or UV. Kepler film goes on the glass and adds UV protection, heat reduction and glare reduction.

Any shade behind the driver, and on the rear window when the car has mirrors on both sides. The front side windows can only take clear UV film that keeps them at 70% or more, unless you have a medical exemption. Our California tint law page has the details.

No special cleaner needed — just avoid ammonia glass cleaners and never scrape the film with a blade. A soft, non-abrasive cloth is best.

Yes. Modern adhesives mean we can fit film whatever the weather — curing may just take a little longer in cold conditions.
